- Mobile food units cannot have drive-through service
- Must have adequate parking for mobile food unit and satisfy property parking requirements
- Prohibited from using outside sound amplifying equipment, televisions, or noise-making devices
- Mobile food units only allowed on private or public parking lots with property owner consent in B-3 District
- City reserves right to deny mobile food vendor access based on scheduled events, congestion, safety issues, or inadequate parking

- Mobile food units may only operate between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM
Renewal & expiration3 rules ▾
- License expires at the end of the calendar year
- Licenses will expire at the end of the calendar year, regardless of the date the license is issued
- License valid until end of calendar year in which it is granted

- Applicant must be owner of mobile food unit
- License only issued to businesses filed with MN Secretary of State or individuals 18+ years old
- No person can operate mobile food unit without valid license

- Waste must be contained in leak-proof containers and cannot be dumped on public property
- Must provide independent power supply screened from public view if not on food truck
- Approved license must be prominently displayed on mobile food unit during operation
- External signage must comply with Title 11, Chapter 23 of code
