- Canteen trucks serving employees at business/job sites do not need location approval
- MFV at private events only need parking location approval and cannot advertise to general public
- MFV cannot block parking lot ingress/egress or clear sight triangles
- MFV cannot use amplified music or loudspeakers to hawk products
- Engine-driven power sources must be separated from public by barriers
Distance & setback2 rules ▾
- MFV must park at least 15 feet from flammable structures and combustible materials
- MFV cannot operate within 150 feet of open restaurants unless written permission obtained
Hours of operation2 rules ▾
- MFV can only operate between 9:00AM and 9:00PM
- Vehicles may not remain parked in any one location for more than 24 hours
Background check4 rules ▾
- Must provide FBI Criminal Background Check for Community Park operations
- Must provide Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance Form for Community Park operations
- Must provide Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check for Community Park operations
- MFVs operating in Community Park areas must provide PA State Police Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI Criminal Background Check

- MFV operators must apply for permit at least 14 days in advance
- Applications can be submitted during regular business hours at Borough Office or Police Department
- Applications reviewed by Mayor and Chief of Police, then applicant contacted for meeting at proposed event location
- Each new parking location must be approved by Mayor or Chief of Police even with annual permit
- All MFV vehicles must have valid inspection sticker and PA vehicle registration
