Local Operating Rules

Vendors >45 min at location must provide Restroom Facility Agreement (restroom within 50 ft). Fixed Establishment Agreement required for each Mission location. Must be >100 ft from competing established locations. Health Department inspections of all food establishments.

Beginning July 1, 2026, Texas mobile food vendors are licensed by the State of Texas / DSHS under Health & Safety Code Chapter 437B. Local jurisdictions may still enforce local laws that do not conflict with Chapter 437B, such as fire, zoning, parking, location, nuisance, or special-area rules where applicable.
