Terms of Service
Effective April 15, 2026 · Last updated April 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of BiteBase, Inc. (“BiteBase,” “we,” “us”) services at bitebase.com and app.bitebase.com.
1. What BiteBase does
BiteBase is an operating platform for mobile food businesses. We help vendors manage permits, scheduling, events, and compliance. We help municipalities manage vendor relationships and permit workflows. We help event hosts find and book mobile food vendors.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not share accounts or use another person’s account without permission.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading information
- Use the platform to violate any law or regulation
- Attempt to access accounts or data that is not yours
- Interfere with the operation of the platform
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data without permission
4. Permit applications and compliance
BiteBase generates permit applications based on information you provide and municipal requirements we have researched. BiteBase is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Generated applications are tools to assist your compliance process — you are responsible for verifying accuracy and meeting all applicable legal requirements. Municipal requirements change; while we work to keep our data current, we cannot guarantee completeness.
5. Municipal data
BiteBase publishes municipal regulatory information sourced from official government websites, ordinances, and public records. This information is provided for reference. It may not reflect the most recent changes. Always verify requirements directly with the relevant authority before relying on them.
6. Content you submit
You retain ownership of content you submit (business information, documents, event details). By submitting content, you grant BiteBase a license to use it as needed to operate the service — for example, including your business name in a vendor directory or populating a permit application.
7. Limitation of liability
BiteBase is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that generated applications will be accepted by any municipality. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BiteBase’s liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using BiteBase at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the platform ends, but provisions that should survive (liability limitations, dispute resolution) continue.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
